Meet Rebecca
Hi, I’m Rebecca- artist, wife, mum.
Based in Wagga Wagga, NSW, I spend my time chasing that soft country light and the kind of landscapes that feel like an old memory. Big skies, dusty paddocks, sunsets that linger a little longer - that’s my kind of magic.
When I’m not painting, I am spending time with my husband, four boys & two beautiful dogs.
We love being in the great outdoors-everything sports especially soccer & running, camping and creating memories that we can treasure forever. Family is everything to me!
when colour becomes my story
I’ve tried a little bit of everything over the years- but painting? That’s the one. It’s where I completely lose track of time and somehow end up with paint everywhere.
I still feel that spark of excitement when a piece comes together- that quiet joy when I step back and think, yes, that’s it. I love the freedom of art-no right, no wrong-just feeling, colour and story.
Every piece is layered in acrylic and created in the in-between moments-after school drop-offs, sporting events, squeezed in and around early morning runs and reheated cups of strong coffee.
I’m usually dashing down to my studio (built by my AMAZING husband) to chase the light across a canvas before the next call of ‘Muummm!’ echoes.
Painting the beautifully ordinary moments- the warm, memory-filled ones- that quietly become the stories that deserve to be remembered and retold for decades.
